Did You Know? iTunes Music Store Navigation Hints

The iTunes Music Store has a lot of information that is just a couple of clicks away, but the problem is that sometimes it's hard to find it. I thought I'd tell you about some of the navigation tips that have helped me, and by using these you can uncover a lot more information during your visits. Click through to a short primer.
The screen shot above is a detail taken from the main iTunes Music Store page accessed from within the iTunes software. If you don't already know, to access this page, all you have to do is click on the "Music Store" link in the left window within iTunes.
The iTunes Music Store, hereafter abbreviated iTMS, usually prominently features two boxes, one labeled 'New Releases' and the other 'Exclusives'. The important thing to note about these boxes is that they contain multiple pages. Each page is represented by a circle (highlighted by me with the arrow in the above screen shot). The circle for the page that you're currently viewing is filled in. Each of these boxes usually contains four pages and you can scroll left or right through the pages by using the little blue arrows (circled in red). This is great if you want to see the cover art and the cool little animation as they slide out of the way. But, if you just want to get to the information, read the next tip.
Comprehensive Lists: This is one of my favorites finds: Click the text on either of the top corners of these boxes to see a comprehensive list of new releases or exclusives. In the case of New Releases, this will give you a weekly summation of all new releases in the iTMS. This is really handy to keep up with what's new in the music store. For iTunes Exclusives, you can view the entire list of iTunes Exclusive albums, which is probably my favorite part of the iTMS.

Today's Top 100: Click on the heading of the 'Today's Top Songs' and 'Today's Top Albums' lists on the right side of the main iTMS window and you'll be able to view the top 100, not just the top 10.

Travel Far: For a quick cultural experience, it is easy to visit the music stores of other countries. From the main page simply click the link labeled 'Choose Store' located near the top left of the main page, or choose the destination country from the drop down list at the bottom of the music store page. You won't be able to purchase from any store but your home country's, but it's still interesting to look around.
Let Your Fingers Do The Walking: From within the music store, you can also use the same key commands for 'page forward' and 'page backward' that you can use in some web browsers. For Mac, press Command-Right bracket (]) to go to forward and press Command-Left bracket ([) to cycle through the pages you've already visited. For PC, press Control-Right bracket (]) to go to forward and Control-Left bracket ([).
I hope these tips help you. Feel free to share your favorite tip in the comments section.
