Peripheral Electronics ipod2car Adapter

Along the lines of the Monster iCruze, Peripheral Electronics offers the ipod2car adapter. This adapter takes the place of your CD changer in your car and uses that input to connect the iPod instead. Be sure to view the compatibility list for available car applications. Available from autosoundgear.com for 200 bucks.
I've used one item made by Peripheral Electronics in my car, a remote turn-on signal amplifier. Seemed like a quality product and it does what I need it to do.

It works.. I opted for the Peripheral piece because it works on the most vehicles. Should I buy another car down the road, all I need is a diffent harness for the car (about $20)

Just put one in a 2004 Vette yesterday. It wasn’t easy but what a great feature to have 1,000 songs in my car and no CDs.

I put one in my 2006 Wrangler. It works great so far. Installation was fairly easy, but a tight sqeeze behind the radio. I routed the cable through the glovebox and under the shifter console into one of the cup holders. looks great and it’s easy to take in and out. I highly recommend the product.
