Previous iPod photos on sale, good deals to be had
Like I thought, Apple has put the remaining stock of the previous 40GB and 60GB iPod photo models on sale. Currently at the 'Special Deals' section of the online Apple store (look for the link down the page and to the right), they've got the 40GB photo with dock and carrying case for $379 and the 60GB with dock and carrying case for $479. Both contain the iPod photo AV cable ($19 if purchased separately) which Apple seems to have removed from the new iPod photos, no? Good deals then.
