The Funky, so named because old earbud pads get funky after a lot of use (yuck), are an exact replica and replacement for Apple's foam earbud covers. They looked and felt like they were made of the same exact material and formed in the same exact way as the Apple product. They fit on my earbuds in the same manner as the originals and they are very good quality. The color was vivid and quite striking and matches the green color that Apple is using to market the iPod shuffle. Sumajin is also able to maintain consistent color between their products, as evidenced by my light green Loop, Funky, and Smartwrap.

Although I think that Apple's earbuds fit more comfortably without the foam covers, I think they sound better with the foam covers on. I'm happy to sacrifice a little bit of comfort for better sound quality (these things need all the help they can get, but are they really all that bad?) so I keep the foam covers on mine.

Since the Funky are good quality, and they come in bright, cool colors, if you're wanting for some new earbud covers, and you gotta have some funk, I would recommend them. Just keep them away from your cats this time.
