Fabulous Friday nano Frenzy

The Register has an article all about the obsessive-compulsive amongst us (takes one to know one) and how you (okay, we) like to keep our iPods scratch-free. Seems that the nano is even more scratch-prone. What do you think? Link

And to that effect, I was thinking about how to protect the iPod nano now before protective cases appear on the market. One of my favorite iPod products is the Moshi iPouch and I would suggest picking one of these up (check the eBay listings too) and use it until you can get a nano case proper. Then use the iPouch for your glasses, cell phone, or simply as a polishing cloth. Thanks to Emma for the original idea which got embedded so deep within my brain that I thought it was my own.

With a rare fervor, Apple analysts and fans alike eagerly scrutinize every move the company makes and every product the company releases. To that end iSupply has performed a bill of materials analysis of the costs involved in making an iPod nano. As you read it, don't forget about the retailer's cut of the pie too. Link
